Terms of use
Version 2026-11 · Last updated: 15 October 2026
The short version
- Triplune is free to use, with up to 20 trips. Premium adds the AI assistant and is sold by Apple through the App Store.
- Your trips are yours. You give us only the permission we need to store and sync them.
- The assistant uses AI and can be wrong. You decide what you plan and do, so always check important details yourself.
- Your rights as a consumer under the law always apply. Nothing in these terms takes them away.
- You can delete your account yourself in Settings. That doesn't cancel an App Store subscription.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Triplune, Waselakehof 4 - 9250 Waasmunster (postal address), Belgium, enterprise number BE 1001.811.050 (“we”, “us”). You can reach us by email at info@triplune.com, through the contact form.
These terms apply to the Triplune app for iPhone and iPad, the web app at app.triplune.com and the website triplune.com (together, “Triplune”). For the iPhone and iPad app, Apple's standard licence agreement also applies (see section 14).
When you create an account, we ask you to accept these terms and our privacy policy, and we record which version you accepted. You can read, save and print this page at any time.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old. If you're not yet an adult where you live, only use Triplune with the permission of a parent or guardian. Purchases go through Apple, so the family settings of your Apple Account (such as Ask to Buy) apply to them.
- Give correct details when you sign up and keep your email address up to date.
- Keep your password to yourself. If you think someone else has access, change your password, sign out your other devices in Settings and tell us.
- One account per person. Accounts are personal and can't be transferred or sold.
- Triplune is meant for your own, personal trip planning.
3. What Triplune does, and its limits
Triplune helps you collect trips and places, plan days and time slots, and, with Premium, plan with an AI assistant.
To keep Triplune fast and fair for everyone, these limits apply:
| Limit | Free | Premium or trip pass |
|---|---|---|
| Trips you created yourself | 20 | 200 |
| Places per trip | 500 | 500 |
| Plan items per trip | 1,000 | 1,000 |
The app tells you when you reach a limit. You never lose anything because of a limit: trips you already have stay available and editable, also when you're above a limit (for example after your Premium ends). You just can't add new trips, places or plan items beyond it. The assistant has its own limits on questions (section 4).
When we change Triplune
We keep improving Triplune, so features change, get added and sometimes get removed. We only make a change that affects what you get for a valid reason, such as a new feature, a security or technical need, a change in a service we depend on (such as the AI model or Apple Maps) or a change in the law, and at no extra cost to you.
If a change affects your use of Premium in a way that's more than minor, we'll tell you clearly and in good time beforehand, in the app or by email. You can end your Premium at any time by cancelling it in your Apple Account settings. Apple sells Premium, so refunds are requested from Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you ask Apple for a refund because of such a change, we'll support your request. Your statutory rights as a consumer, such as your rights if Premium doesn't work as it should and your right of withdrawal where it applies, remain unaffected.
4. Premium and the trip pass
Premium unlocks the AI assistant. You can buy it in the iPhone and iPad app in two ways:
| Product | Length | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Premium, monthly | 1 month, renews automatically | The assistant, with 150 questions per subscription month and at most 40 questions in any 24 hours |
| Trip pass | 30 days, does not renew | The assistant, with 500 questions in those 30 days and no daily limit |
- Seller and price: Apple sells Premium and the trip pass. Apple handles the payment and the invoice, and Apple's terms for App Store purchases apply to the purchase. The App Store shows the price in your local currency, including VAT where it applies, before you confirm. That price is the one that counts.
- Payment: charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Automatic renewal: the monthly subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for the next month within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Cancelling: manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions, or in the App Store. When you cancel, Premium keeps working until the end of the period you paid for.
- Buying a trip pass while one is running: the new pass starts when the current one ends, with its own 30 days and 500 questions.
- A trip pass and a subscription together: while a trip pass runs, the pass applies: 500 questions, no daily limit. Questions you ask during the pass don't count towards your subscription. The subscription keeps running and renewing as usual during the pass; a pass doesn't pause it.
- Refunds: we don't take payments ourselves, so we can't refund them. Refunds are requested from Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com. Your statutory rights as a consumer, such as your rights if Premium doesn't work as it should and your right of withdrawal where it applies, remain unaffected.
- Questions: unused questions don't carry over to the next period and can't be exchanged for money.
- Everywhere you use Triplune: Premium bought in the app also works in the web app when you're signed in with the same account.
If the price of the subscription changes, Apple tells you in advance and, where the law requires it, asks you to agree before the new price applies.
Your right of withdrawal
If you're a consumer in the European Union, you can withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days, without giving a reason. Because Apple sells Premium and the trip pass, you use this right with Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com, as described in Apple's terms. If you start using Premium within the 14 days, the law may let you lose this right or owe a proportional part of the price, but only if you were told so and agreed to it when you bought.
If Premium doesn't work as it should
Triplune and Premium must work as described in these terms and in the app. If they don't, you have the rights the law gives consumers: to have the problem fixed free of charge, and, if that isn't possible, doesn't happen within a reasonable time or the problem is serious, a price reduction or to end the contract. Tell us through the contact form; we fix problems with Triplune ourselves. As Apple received the payment, a refund or price reduction is requested from Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com, and we'll support your request. Apple's refund rules don't replace your statutory rights; those remain unaffected.
5. Your content
Your trips, places, plans, notes and questions to the assistant are your content, and they stay yours. You give us a limited, worldwide, free licence to store, copy, process and show your content only to run Triplune for you: to sync it to your devices, to answer your questions in the assistant (including sending it to our AI provider, as the privacy policy explains) and to make backups.
This licence ends when you delete the content or your account. Content you delete is first only marked as deleted, so your other devices learn that it's gone, and is permanently erased after 30 days. When you delete your account, your content is erased at once. Copies in backups disappear when the backup expires, after at most 90 days.
You're responsible for your content. Only add content you're allowed to use.
6. Fair use: what you may not do
Don't use Triplune to:
- break the law or anyone else's rights, including privacy and intellectual property;
- store or spread content that is illegal, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit or that harms children;
- harass, deceive or impersonate others;
- send spam, malware or anything harmful;
- get into accounts, systems or data that aren't yours, or test or break our security without permission;
- overload Triplune, or access it with bots, scrapers or other automated tools, except through the official apps;
- get around limits, Premium or payments, share your account so others avoid paying, or resell access to Triplune or the assistant;
- use the assistant to produce content that breaks these rules or Anthropic's usage policy, or to try to make it reveal how it's built;
- copy, change, decompile or reverse engineer Triplune, except where the law allows it.
7. Blocking and ending your account
If you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, endanger other people, Triplune or our systems, or if the law requires it, we may remove content, limit features, or block or delete your account. A blocked account can't sign in and is signed out on all devices.
We act in proportion to what happened. We'll tell you by email what we did and why: when we block your account, you get an email with the reason, and when we unblock it, you get an email too. We only wait with that email if it's urgent or telling you would help you cause harm or break the law; in that case we'll tell you as soon as that reason is gone. If you think we made a mistake, reply through the contact form, and a person will look at it again.
If we block or delete your account while you have paid Premium time left, you can request a refund from Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com, and we'll support that request. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected.
You can stop using Triplune at any time and delete your account yourself in Settings, in the app or the web app. If you can't sign in, ask us through the contact form. Deleting your account doesn't cancel an App Store subscription: cancel that in your Apple Account settings first. The app reminds you of this.
8. The assistant: AI suggestions you decide on
Plans, suggestions and answers from the assistant are generated by AI and can be wrong. They're suggestions, not professional advice. You decide what you plan and do, so check what matters yourself.
The assistant uses an AI model. AI can make mistakes that sound convincing. Its answers, suggested places, day plans, times, travel times and other content can be incomplete, out of date, unsuitable for you or simply wrong. It can suggest places that are closed, don't exist, aren't accessible or aren't safe, and it can't see the weather, crowds, events, closures or local conditions.
That's why:
- A proposal is never applied by itself. Nothing changes in your trip until you choose to apply it, and you can undo it.
- Check everything that matters yourself, with the official source: opening hours, tickets and reservations, prices, transport and travel times, entry rules, visas and travel documents, health and vaccination advice, accessibility, and safety and travel advice from your government.
- The assistant is not a professional adviser. It doesn't give legal, medical, financial, safety or immigration advice, and isn't a substitute for it.
We make sure the assistant works as described: that it answers your questions, shows its proposals clearly and only changes your trip when you apply a proposal. What we can't promise is that every AI suggestion is correct or right for you. This warning doesn't limit our liability for our own faults or shortcomings, or your rights as a consumer under the law (see section 11).
The same goes for other information in Triplune that comes from third parties, such as opening hours, wait times and place details: it can be wrong or change at any time, so check it before you rely on it.
Triplune is not a travel agency. We don't sell or book trips, tickets or accommodation, and we're not responsible for the services of hotels, parks, airlines or other providers. Triplune is not affiliated with the theme parks, attractions or brands named in the app.
9. Our intellectual property
Triplune, its design, code, name and logo belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Triplune for your own, non-commercial trip planning. Maps and place data are provided by Apple and subject to Apple's terms.
10. Availability
We do our best to keep Triplune available and your trips safe, and we make regular backups. Sometimes we need maintenance or have to fix problems, and then Triplune can be unavailable for a short time; we plan maintenance at quiet times where we can. The iPhone and iPad app works offline for your trips; search, sync and the assistant need an internet connection.
This doesn't change your legal rights if Triplune or Premium doesn't work as it should (section 4).
11. Liability
We're liable under the law for damage caused by our fault or by a shortcoming in Triplune. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes:
- your rights as a consumer under the law;
- our liability for intent or gross negligence, or for that of the people we work with;
- our liability for death or personal injury caused by an act or omission on our side;
- our liability for failing to deliver what we promise as the core of Triplune and Premium.
We're not liable for damage that we didn't cause, such as damage caused by the services of hotels, parks, airlines or other providers, by information from third parties that we pass on as it is, or by choices you make yourself about what you plan and do, in so far as that damage doesn't result from a fault or shortcoming on our side.
12. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms for a valid reason, for example when we add or change features, when a service we depend on changes, or when the law changes. We then update the version and the date at the top. We'll tell you about important changes in the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect, and may ask you to accept the new version in the app.
If you don't agree with a change, you can stop using Triplune and delete your account before it applies. You can end Premium at any time by cancelling it in your Apple Account settings. If a change is to your disadvantage and you have paid Premium time left, you can request a refund from Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com, and we'll support that request. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected. Changes never apply to the past.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Belgian law. If you're a consumer living in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
Let's try to solve a problem together first: contact us. If you're a consumer and we can't work it out, you can also turn to the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service (consumentenombudsdienst.be). You can always go to the court that's competent under the law; as a consumer, that includes the courts of the place where you live.
14. The iPhone and iPad app (Apple)
This section only applies to the Triplune app for iPhone and iPad that you download from the App Store.
- Your licence to use the app is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA). These terms apply in addition to it, for your account, Premium, the assistant, support and your content. If the two conflict on the licence to use the app itself, the standard EULA prevails; on everything else, these terms apply.
- Apple sells Premium and handles payment, invoicing and refunds under its own terms (see section 4).
- We, not Apple, are responsible for the app, its content, maintenance and support.
Questions, complaints or claims about the app go to us: Triplune, email info@triplune.com, or the contact form.
